My Contact Card annoying

First of all, I don't use Facebook.

Now that that's out of the way, how the heck can I either get rid of this stupid superfluous contact entry or at the very least get it to sync with my contact info in Gmail?

The fact that so many of the apps auto use this contact and it cannot be synced/replaced with a real contact is supremely annoying.

Cannot fathom how this was considered a good idea.

It's a great idea for quickly sending all your contact info to another phone. I use it all the time. I meet a new client, and bluetooth all my contact info in about 3 seconds, very easy and saves a lot of hassle.

How does requiring you to manually enter all your data into it instead of syncing with already existing contact info save you hassle?


I don't want to have to maintain two separate contacts for myself. It's completely pointless and makes no sense.
