My Downloads Folder

When I open storage, it says "my downloads" takes up 426mb. However, when I open the "my downloads" folder, there are no files. What is taking up the 426mb??

Are you looking in the right folder? There's one in in the internal and one in the external SD card.

how do we know which one we're looking at? I only see the Downloads folder. Icon is with a green arrow pointing down

There is an app called Astro which I installed. It allows you to see all the phones files, even the system files. Try using that or one like it to see if there is stuff there you cannot see. might be app data that it is detecting.
