My dream app/phone locker--does it exist?

I know that Android, sadly, does not have multiple user account features built in. I am aware that the features I want exist in many different apps, yet it would be nice to have them all together.

Quite simply, I want an app where I can set my phone so only I can use my accounts and certain apps, but people with a guest code can unlock the phone and have some functionality.

I'm thinking of a variety of features like this:
  • Have a pin/pattern lock REPLACE the lock screen. It seems silly to open the lock screen with a swipe, only to have to then do a pattern lock with a more complicated swipe.
  • Recognize multiple pins/patterns
  • When the "guest" pin/pattern is entered, they should not be able to see my email, apps I have chosen to keep private, should not see my web history or bookmarks or any accounts in apps I may have kept logged in
  • When someone logs in with the "guest" pin/pattern, an email should be sent to me with links to track/lock/reset the phone.

For a really good app that does what I imagine, I would pay up to $10. Does anyone know of such an app? I want to make sure my private matters are private

Wow!!!, I don't know if you're going to find anything with that level of security in it. While smartphones are often seen as miniature computers, I don't think that they are looked upon as multi-user devices like P.Cs

There are apps available that will do some of the things you want, but I don't know of any all-in-on security suites like that.

Sounds like a cue to learn how to program. A app like this, might net you a cool amount of loot. LOL

The only app i found similar to this and which i use is "Hide it pro". It is an app disguised as a sound manager, with which you can hide pics videos documents apps etc, protected with a password. Such an app like you described i never saw for a mobile device. Maybe because a phone is not exactly ment as a multi user device and is more a personal thing.

Wont happen. Android is designed in a way so that apps dont interfere with other apps, unless those other apps are designed to work together with that app (for example, Go Widgets will not work with other Home Launchers). This is "sandboxing". This was done so that when one app crashes, it doesnt affect the entire system.

Only possible way I can think of to make this happen is build a custom ROM that does this.
