My droid incredible seems to be limited to 2046 friends on facebook in my people's list. It seems that new friends aren't added anymore automatically (that is synced up) ... is there such a limit? my people's list is a mix between my google contacts and facebook contacts (most of them linked so I can add phone numbers, etc.) I have no such limit with my google contacts. my contact storage is at about 50MB right now.

don't automatically sync facebook contacts. Import your Google contacts and then manually link them to their facebook.
gforce, I am not sure I understand.. I think I can only manually link to their facebook when the facebook contact is listed, no? when I go to manually link to a facbook contact, it shows me a list of facebook contacts, presumably the ones it has already synced with facebook.. my latest friends (the one above the limit I mentionned) are not listed there and therefore I can't manually link them to their respective google contact

or you can create a new facebook account for those "associates" who aren't part of your immediate social life. Then keep your main facebook account for your phone contacts as well.

why create a new account when lists allows for easy privacy management and unlocking content only for these who "matter", actually I am in nightlife promotion and 2000 is only a subset of people I know (or know me) . which doesn't address the question: why is there a limit on droid, why is it so buggy and when will it be FIXED?? I can't wait for an iPhone on Verizon

Because you know, the engineers figured everyone would have 2k+ contacts from facebook, so it's all their fault they didn't work it in.

u kno what really grinds my gears(fmly guy reference)....how im not supposed to always feel singled out when things like the new 2.1 for android exist?! allow me to elaborate. i recently discovered that my 3 hour phone call stemmed from my friend showing me an app on his evo where he shakes phone and boobies shake...lame i know. i spend hours trying to download update to phone bec it cant be done ota...only otw(just learned that tday lol). well long story short new update doesnt include 1 thing...guess...live wallpaper...which does what u ask? allow boobies to shake...thats what! theres more u should know about this update as i am now an expert...sort of. so if ur intrigued...ill be waiting.
