My G1 Phone gets slow after switching it on for a while

Hey guys, my G1 phone slows down after a while from switching it on, and if I switched off and re-switched it on it will get back to its normal state. So any clue why is that happening? I downloaded many apps from the market, is that the reason? and is there any application that shows the running applications in the background and their CPU and memory usage? And when I open the messaging and scroll through the messages it is way too slow.

yep mine too but when i reset its fast again maybe the phone doesnt release the ram like its supposed to do.
i always keep switching apps.
i hope they fix those memory leaks.

Here is a quick reboot trick for you:

You'll have to find a comfortable way to press all 3 buttons, but it is a bit faster this way...
Press the Green call button, Menu button and Red call end button all at one time. This will do a reboot for you.

You're welcome, and me too unfortunately. But it has seemed to really improve my perception of the phone
