My G6 will not recognize a micro SD card. Why?

My G6 doesn't see either of my micro SD cardsbwhen I put them in. Any ideas?

Do the sd cards work in other devices? Have you tried restarting your phone after inserting the sd card?

Do you know how the cards are formatted? If they are NTFS, then the phone won't see them.

Try formatting using a laptop... there's options to change the type of format
