my galaxy y is working very slow

my galaxy y is working very slow, i have to wait for long for things to open up!
i have downloaded all my fave apps, the phone is usually short of memory...so i often uninstall some apps. its working very slow...what should i do?

I would try uninstalling a few more apps and also removing any other unnecessary stuff from your internal storage. Phones use flash memory for their internal storage and it bogs down when starts getting full. It could be one specific app. You might try uninstalling each app and testing to see if it's better. Once you find the offending app you can reinstall others and see if it slows again.
