My Go Launcher lags?

Hi. I seem to have this problem with Go launcher on my samsung galaxy s2, where it stutters and sort of lags whilst scrolling through homescreens. It's unbearable to be honest. To me, Go launcher is pretty much superior to all the other launchers, so I want it work well. I'm not rooted, so I'm running it through TW... Any ideas? Thanks.
 
I think you should consider clearing the app data and rebooting, and rebuilding the setup you did. Otherwise, try LauncherPro. Both apps have similar features.
 
You could rename the GO folder (or copy to a PC) with all the back up files, then unistall and reinstall. Then move specific back up files back to the new GO folder (after you see if the problem went away).
 
The screen transitions effects don't seem to play well with live wallpaper but even if you don't use effects or lwp it was suggested on another board I read:
menu -prefs-screen transition speed=quick
and menu prefs-effects-homescreen transition=default

This helps me out some, bit of lag sometimes but nowhere near as frequently as before.
 
Alas, nothing works :/
It's seems to be the widgets that are causing it. I've gone back to Launcherpro, and it's very smooth. Thanks for the help.
