My Headphone cord skips songs when i move it slightly

I need help, when my headphones are plughed into my phone the aux cord works as a kind of controller for my headphones, skipping and pausing youtube and music or when watching a video on the media player, the google assistant pops up, idk what to do.

If different headphones are doing this one your phone, and they are fine with other devices, it's evidently a short in the phone's headphone jack. Contact Samsung for warranty repair.

Yes and they do the same, and they dont do it whwn plugged into my pc
So that does add a twist. Initially I was thinking a short in the headphone wiring was the issue but try blowing directly (but gently) into the headphone port. If you carry your phone around in your pocket, things like lint and such might have gotten into it. Also, if you have a case, make sure your phone is situated properly inside it. If it shifted a bit that opening in the case might not be lining up, causing the headphone jack to not fit completely inside the port opening.
And those are just 'physical' things, there's an outside chance there's just glitch that a simple phone restart might fix (if this issue has started recently and you haven't rebooted your phone since then.)

agree with chief,

if multiple phones still do the same thing, the headphone jack needs repairing. should still be under samsung warranty so reach out to them.
