My HTC EVO 4G wont turn on

My HTC EVO 4G will not turn on. It was working the same day it happened I was in mwcar listening to music so by time I get home the music is playing but the screen is off. So I try to turn it on but still a black screen. So I turned it off and put it down for a day. So the next day, My phones screen will not turn back on. Please if you have a solution to my problem reply

Hi, and welcome.

Open the back of the phone and remove the battery. Put the battery back in and replace the cover, then plug the phone into a charger and leave it for several hours.

It sounds like it just drained the battery completely.

(When I play music in the car, I plug the phone into a car charger. It helps a lot!)
