Help My HTC ONE X keeps powering off randomly

Hello

So recently i noticed that my phone keeps powering off randomly, it has nothing to do with the battery so far, i know this because i charged my battery to 100% and it still goes off randomly whenever i use it for probably about 5 minutes. This pisses me off because I've factory reset my phone more than 5 times this week to see if it would make a difference but no. You can't really take the back of the phone off so i don't know if it has anything to do with the battery or not. But when i first got it, it was fine now i really want to throw my phone on the road and run it over. I have no warranty for the phone so i can dismantle it somehow by myself but that would be last option! Please some one help

I had the same problem with a Galaxy Trend and couldn't figure out for the life of me what the problem was and it was driving me nuts too. Since it was under warranty I took it in and it turned out to be a faulty power button. If you are going to take the phone apart yourself I'm sure there are a ton of videos on the power button as it is a fairly common piece to go bad. You could even just try blowing it out in case there is some dust or particles trapped in the slot that is affecting the power button. Not saying that it's your issue, but you could start there.
