My ideal phone...

Processor: ~1ghz
RAM: 512mb
Keyboard: A hardware keyboard... and not one thats a box... correctly spaced keys please. Also 5 rows is nice pressing alt for numbers is stupid.
D-Pad: Trackballs are stupid you can't hold them for a constant effect.


Does this phone exist!? As far as I know it does not. This would be my ideal phone. So far every android phone I've seen isn't worth buying and I've stuck with the G1 the N1 was very tempting but lack of a hardware keyboard ultimately made me not want it.

Also I love how on the phone manufacturers websites under the tech specs they always avoid listing the hardware information and you have to dig around to a differen't part of the site to find it... or even a different website.

lol, you see but mine is realistic if yours were made it would cost about $1500 or more.
 
I agree with you 100% Ariler. Keep it simple and real. I don't think what your asking for is to much. Know if Blackberry and Android mate, I think there offspring would be an awesome phone!
 
I agree with puppet_master. If you're going for ideal go all out. Realistic is no fun. :p

Assuming you don't end up with only the bad DNA from both sides...
 
Pssh.... I want a phone with a prototype qualcomm dual core mobile processor. And an electric toaster with a 7500mah lithium ion battery.

Thinking about it.... having the entire phone be hammer-resistant wouldn't be bad either. I do like hitting stuff with hammers...
