My LG K30 Has been hacked and I can't verify gmail

Hi everyone so I just, May 09, paid T Mobile 240 dollars for an Android LG K30 and not even a week in, people have been actually targeting me, my phone was hacked (my fault for going to an old email). There use to be an option for "no cellular data) but now I only have the choice to choose either cellular or Wi-Fi after factory reset. I was able to get here by watching the tutorial video under accessibility. LG said I need to mail it in and that can take as long as 3 weeks. Please help!

It is more likely that your gmail account was hacked and apps are being pushed to your phone.

First, try to recover your gmail account and use an alternate email instead of the text option to verify. If it's been completely hijacked, report it to google and save what you can, then create a new gmail account. Use a strong password and two factor authentication ... and DO NOT use that account on the phone until you have it wiped clean.

Once you've got what you can backed up, then go into settings>accounts and remove ALL accounts including the hijacked Google account. Then, factory reset.

When it reboots, do not register with any account, just skip those steps until you get to the home screen. Don't worry if it barks at you about missing out on stuff or not having access to the play store. Next go to settings>apps and show system apps. Look for anything that seems out of place and report back here.

If you don't see anything unusual, then factory reset again and this time register with the new gmail account. Don't install anything, just use the phone for a few days and see if there are any problems.
