my market wont open..?

Well, it opens up, but then when i click on an app i want to loot at, i get a pop up that says application stopped unexpectedly and it needs to force close.. i dont get why it wont open?? Has Nyone had this happen

actually yes I have...try pulling the battery or resetting the phone(yeah generic fixes, but knowing the type of phone may help)

menu->settings->Applications->Manage Applications. scroll down to find "Market". Tap "Market" and then "Clear cache" and "clear data". Try to go back to the market.
