Help My moto G 2nd gen won't turn on anymore

Linh

So I've got my moto g for 3 months now and today it wont turn on again. First of all, I never rooted my phone or anything.

I was outside when my phone suddenly turnt off. When I got home I tried to turn it on again but it doesn't work anymore. Whenever I hold down the lock button, the white start screen with the blue motorola logo will show up, and then the screen turns black again. Since I'm quite a noob with phones, I tried holding some of the buttons, causing me to get into the fastboot. But when I select normal powerup, recovery, or factory, it just shows the white startscreen with the blue logo again. Then it turns off again. I have my phone next to me now, plugged into my laptop (battery was above 50% when it turnt off by itself at first), and it will randomly turn on again showing the startscreen, but unfortunately, it will turn off again within seconds.

Does anyone else has this problem? Or is there anybody who knows what I should do?

Many thanks in advance.

Sounds exactly like a bad battery. Since these batteries aren't designed to be user-replaceable I'd second the warranty repair route.

Yeah. As long as it has no physical damage from being dropped or wet they should give you no argument about replacing it. I really think the phone suffered a hardware failure of some kind. It happens - nothing is perfect.

Lotsa luck!

Depends on where you buy this stuff. Some stores will replace your phone before 90 days, but after that you have to send it to the manufacturer directly. Either way, they should fix it for you under warranty.

Hey guys! I send my phone to the company to get it fixed again. They let me know they switched the motherboard, so the problem could have been anything. Too bad I cant help anyone who also has had the same problem. Thanks for your responses :)
