The Moto G5 Plus features a nice sized (non removable) 3,000mAh battery. Paired with a Snapdragon 625, this should make for some pretty great battery life.
Here are my battery life results after about 2 hours away from the plug (187 apps installed). I'll be updating it throughout the day. Let's see if this phone can take me through a full day and into the night. Feel free to share your battery life results as well.
Okay, I'm now officially off work and after 8 hours it looks like the Moto G5 Plus is holding up extremely well. Close to 2 hours of screen on time and still 74% left. By comparison, I get about 2 1/2 hours with my Moto Z and the Google Pixel (regular). Will update again at the end of the night.
It's almost 1AM, so I'm officially closing out the day with 63% battery and a little over 3 hours of screen on time. I must admit, that's pretty impressive. If there's one thing this phone excels at, it's battery life. I think we all can agree on that. Screenshot proof below.
