my music isn't working properly

[Android Question]

Okay so i like music alot!&i have 370 songs but loads of my songs arnt playing if i press to play them it just says 'cannot play media.the content is missing or not available' also it won't let me delete the songs ether,i tried going on to my files to see if it will work&i also tried rebooting my phone but nothing seems to be working,nothing else is like that,any ideas about what to do??.....

One of 2 things is most likely happening:

1. Your files are on an external SDcard that is not being read properly

2. Your music files are in an incompatible format.


What format are your music files in? exp: many Android players will not play Apples' proprietary formats.
