my music player stops playing when i exit out of it

hi my music player on my samsung captivate stops playing when i exit out of it and i dont want it to. how do i stop this or can i????

Umm, thats normal. When you exit an app, it stops doing what it was doing...

when you say exit out...are you actually closing the app or just going to, say, home...?
