Help My new htc magic and me, questions

I have a prepaid card where the kb fee for down and uploads are pretty high, so while on the 3G / edge network without Wan i ONLY want useful on the run applications to have access to the provider network.

I downloaded and tried these: GoogleCalendarSync_Installer & googleappssyncsetup, but none of them seem to work in conjunction with Outlook 2010 x64.

The key here for me is I want the Swedish & Polish holidays in my google calendar on my android, is the possible somehow?
