Help My Note Is'nt Adding Up

Perhaps they randomly changed the scoring system again, they're not above that. No telling.
Or you can always try rebooting and rerunning AnTuTu until you get a higher score.
Or if you want some friendly advice - uninstall it and don't worry about it. It's a shadow of what it used to be. Anymore it's pretty Mickey Mouse.

You do realize that manufacturers manipulate these numbers right? There really not reliable in the first place.
It used to be rock steady and a really good comparison indicator. I used to recommend it left and right.
And it's numbers tended to total closely to Quadrant totals but for different reasons.

Then it got popular. In the press.
Then they arbitrarily changed the scoring so that the numbers hit double digits.
Suddenly my phone went from about 6000 to about 12000 overnight.

Then came the news that Samsung was cheating. Along with others.

Then they claimed to fix it.

And since then it's been an endless merry go round on the numbers.
I didn't mean to offend but AnTuTu is really just a video game any more. Million downloads? Sure. McDonald's sells the most hamburgers too if you catch my meaning. And I wasn't kidding about the infotainment on those screens being lies.
A fair benchmark for what it's worth is CF-Bench.
It will show average, reasonable comparisons - not best case results from cheaters.
It doesn't test everything, nor does it try and then lie.
Seriously - AnTuTu claims to test html performance.
OK. With its own engine.
Try Vellamo for that, it uses the browser of your choice on your phone and gives an honest answer - not something that's meaninglessly synthetic.
It's right up there with Clean Master.

While Clean Master claims to improve performance, it's made the top ten list of battery drainers and background data hogs.
Sadly, Samsung has embedded it on the new phones, claiming that large market acceptance made it a natural partnership.

Yeah.
Delete everything made by CM yesterday.
It's pure snake oil.
It fails at privacy, fails at performance, fails at security (abysmal privacy rating) - and my favorite - they got the numbers up for Clean Master through a web malware campaign. (Which in a way really uniquely qualifies them for malware detection in CM Security when you think about it.) And I give steps so that you can test and see for yourself - their Battery Doctor actually wastes power.

Nova launcher is excellent. So is Textra or Chomp for sms.
