Help My Phone Froze And The Touch Screen Doesn't Work?

When using internet on my phone today the screen froze up. Now I can't read anything or see much on the screen. The screen is black with white dashes all over it. If I slide open the phone, I might see half of the phones image. At best. I have tried a soft and hard rest. Nothing seems to work. Never droped or abused the phone. Now it just seems to be a black screen and nothing else happens when I try to restart the phone. If anyone has any tips, please let me know. Thanks!
 
Don't know sounds kinda funny... have you taken both the battery and sim out waited a few seconds before putting it back together and restarting it?
 
faulty screen. no warranty. tmo offers a 1 yr manufacturer warranty. even if you dont have insurance. only if its not a physical or water damaged phone. bring it in to tmo. they will replace it.
