Help My phone has updated to android 4.4.4 and now refuses to play any music or vidios. HELP!

I believe I recently updated to android 4.4.4, and since then my phone (moto g) does not play any music, it just says "music playback error could not play the track you requested"
Also it does not play any videos or GIFs. This includes on YouTube and I have tried many other sites and apps

Please help if you can, it is much appreciated

Can you tell us what apps you have used for music, video playback and image viewing? As you might guess this is not a widespread problem, and it seems very strange that different media types, played through different apps, should all fail as a result of a minor OS update (which won't have changed most of the apps concerned), so it would be good to have as much information as possible to try to work out what the problem might be. Also what errors do you get for videos and images, and do you mean you can't view any images, or just that animated GIFs don't work (because you say "playing", which sounds odd for GIFs generally and hence might imply that you are meaning just animations)?
