My phone, I guess "glitches"

Some people say it is just a glitch and if so i want it fixed. My phone will sometime not let me receive text messages, i get everything else. Just not text messages. And it holds back usually 2 days worth of messages and usually if i restart it enough it lets me get them....but i still want to know.
Is there something wrong with my phone?!

I once cured a phone of similar behaviour by removing the lock code from the sim card. It seemed that the sim would randomly lock itself when the phone was on. Don't know if it was a sim network or phone fault

I would think it is something wrong with your phone, or the service. I don't knw exactly which end is responsible for pinging the data/messages, but I know the provider is who controls how often your phone pings towers for cell reception. For this reason, I would try calling your service provider/carrier first. If that doesn't get you results, you could try a factory reset. That's kind of a shotgun approach, but it may do it.
