Hi Please help. I was able to root it successfully and now it just freezes at the "Samsung Galaxy Ace" Logo and that stays there for a long time. I have done a data/cache wipe and everything I can and yet nothing happens. I have downloaded the odin downloader, but when I click start it says "Please connect phones" when my phone is in the Odin mode and shows"Downloading..."with the green Android and "Do not turn off target!!" Please help!!! What's also strange is that if I plug my phone with my USB cable my PC does recognizes the phone as a Device and it does install it drivers as if my Phone is "working"...

Your last flash wasn't done properly. Its not even booting properly.
Have you ever used Odin before?? its only used to flash a fresh firmware on your device, and thats just what you'll have to do.
The mode you entered is the downloading mode. Its is used when you want to flash something via Odin. Go to sammobile.com and download the flash guide along with cooper.ops file and the latest firmware of your region.
Read the instructions in the guide carefully, you'll get through this problem easily.

Thanks, I have downloaded the guide, but if I try and press Vol Down + Home + Power nothing happens.

So the mode I used which was Vol Up + Vol Down and Power at the same time isn't the correct one?

Well the correct way is to HOLD Vol Down + Home + Power Button, this should get you into the download mode. Keep this order and try again.

P.S your entire phone data will be erased after flashing this, i do hope you have already have a bakup.
