Are you getting any sort of notification appear in your status bar/pull down?

I had one that beeped when it needed charging. I'd been blaming the beeps on the office security system cam. (It was having a problem, anyway) The tsecurity tech tracked down the beep to my phone.

If it beeps it's something to notify you about. Either about battery, email, system or what have you.
