Hello :)
I have an HTC One X (about 3 years)
I tried doing a system update on my phone
My phone seemed to work well but then it kept restarting and I couldn't access my settings app but the other apps opened up fine
I decided to do a factory reset to see if it would stop it from the continuous rebooting (I lost everything btw but I'll be able to get it back)
My phone is still on a continuous reboot and I also can't access my settings app, but I am able to open other apps
The battery also heats up
And it keeps up the continuous reboot until it goes dead
Help please? :)

Switch off the One X.
Power it on
Once you see the HTC splash screen, press and hold the Volume Up key till the phone boots up in Safe Mode.

If the problem stops, you've got an app misbehaving.

To leave safe mode, hold down power button until it power resets, not just a power on/off.
