And it's driving me nuts!!! I have a Samsung Galaxy Trend with android 4.0.4 that hasn't given me problems up till now. It all started when I charged it and left it off at night when it was done. When I got up the next day and picked it up it was vibrating. One long "buzz" then it stopped, one long "buzz" and stopped. I couldn't get it turned on pressing the power button so took the battery out and popped it back it and it keep on buzzing so I did it a few more times and finally left it out for ten minutes and it finally stopped buzzing and I could turn it on like normal. But ever since then it turns itself on at night when I always power it down before bed. I only install things from the Play Store and didn't install anything new prior to this happening. I tried a factory reset but it's still turning itself on every day after I power it down. Any ideas would be appreciated as it's a pain wasting battery foolishly like that and I can't find anything on the net either, it seems everyone else's phones turn themselves OFF and not ON like mine, lol!
P.S. Just woke up and the phone was on by itself again. As a "work around" would it do any harm to just pop the battery out when I go to sleep and put it back in when I wake up?
