Help My phone screen keeps shutting off

My phone screen keeps shutting off when it is tapped slightly. It started doing this after I dropped it Tuesday. My phone battery can't be removed because my phone is waterproof and I don't have enough money to repair it

Then I suggest saving some money to get it repaired or replaced.
Depending on what device it is, to simulate a battery pull, press and hold the power button for 20 or so seconds.

But what makes you think that it's about the battery?

You know this started after a drop, so you know it's mechanical damage - possibly just a loose contact, but without opening the phone up we can only speculate. So it needs repair, which I think you also already knew.
