Help My Phone Storage Is Not Working Proparly

Every time i do system restore after a few months i lose memory. It says i used 3gb out of 12gb and that it is full. How can i fix this.

What have you got on your phone that is using up all available storage? Try moving some pictures and music from the on board storage to an SD card (if you have one) or to your PC.
What about apps and games on your phone? Try removing some that you don't really use or need and then have a look at how many emails and texts you have and remove if necessary.

all i have is facebook.
apps take up 483mb
pics and videos take up 58mb
audio take up 220kb
downloads take up 14mb
misc take up2gb
and available space is 40kb out of the 12gb
