my phone will no longer fade to black.

My lg optimus g no longer times out. I had it set to time out after 15 seconds but now it just stays on, draining my battery. I've powered off and restarted, which worked for a couple of days but no longer.w
 
You may have installed an app which prevents the phone from sleeping. I suggest removing any recently installed apps one at a time then rebooting and testing to find the culprit.
