Android Question

I just got home from a holiday in Switzerland. I try to connect my Samsung Galaxy Android via USB, and the phone refuses to notice it's USB-connected to the computer. I try turning the mobile off, and nothing happens. Later on, I try connecting it to the charger: same result, nothing happens. Which means that, to charge it, I must swap batteries with another phone, charge the battery in that one, and swap batteries again. How do I fix this problem? Any ideas?

Hello and welcome aboard.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your phone. Unfortunately, it seems that there is pretty much nothing else to do, other than to get the device fixed. It seems that you have a defective charging port.

I hope you get this problem behind you very soon. :)

Hello, and welcome to the Android Forums :D. It sounds like there may be a hardware problem with your device D:. One thing that you may try before writing it off as a hardware problem though, is to do a factory reset (which will everything off of your device and restore it to the way it was when you bought it, so backup everything you want :)). Now if the factory reset doesn't work then it is most definitely a hardware problem. If you are still under warranty then I would try to get a warranty replacement or if you have insurance do an insurance claim. If you don't have either then you might not have much luck... although you might be able to look into a device repair shop and see if they would be able to fix it :). Hope this helps! And sorry about your phone :/
