Help my phone wont stop restarting itself after a failed upgrade to "foyo"

my phone is determined to have me pull out my own hair. i was told by a clerk at my local metropcs shop, he told me that i should upgrade my phone so that it runs a bit faster. as great as that sounds my phone is now doing the opposite of working. i have to keep my phone on system recovery just to keep it from not rebooting over an over. i tried factory reset but it dont reset somepletely i suppose.. when this error occurred, my battery was fully charged, i was connected to wifi, and my sdcard had more than enough space left open. mmm? vague error.. mm? my phone wants to reload foyo?

any help would be appreciated

also, for some reason my laptop reboots too when i try and connect my phone to it. i dont think my laptop appreciates it.. my phone is being a real jerk....

Can you post what you did here? My phone restarts all the time with no "upgrade" and whatever you did may help out here.

Also, others who may encounter this problem may like to know what you did.
