my phones say not registered

hi i have a galaxy not 2 and when ever i put a sim in there it works perfectky fine , as soon as i put my vodafone pay monthly sim it stops working , the phone show full bars signal but when i try to call it says 'not registered on network'

i checked the state of service it say , out of service ,

my sim works fine in other pohnes

Going by what you have said, I'm assuming you're SIM that works is the SIM that came with the phone and is on another network. This means you will be unable to use the Vodafone SIM until the phone is unlocked, to do this you will have to call the manufacturer/company of the SIM that does work and ask for an unlock code, otherwise you could attempt to root your phone and unlock it yourself, hopefully someone else will add a link for the root forum as I'm unable to at the moment.
