Help My ringtones/media stops working

Hey, so I was reading someone's thread about their music not working and then rebooting it and it works fine. A lot of people just said to use a different player, but I have the same problem only my ringtones don't work either. It will only ring with a default ringer that came with the phone. It literally happens almost every day and it is frustrating, because I listen to music a lot and hate having to keep restarting my phone... Any suggestions would be excellent!

Stupid question but I have to ask it:
Under your Settings--sound settings--volume-- have you got your media volume turned up? It is different that your ringtone(incoming call) volume.
I made that mistake myself.

hey, yeah it's not that... and that's not a dumb question. I am sure it has happened to plenty of people! I just want my ringer to work all the time! it's driving me nuts!

What is the problem you are having? It isn't clear from your post.

What problem is happening with the media player?

What problem is happening with ring tones?

Hey so it was actually a problem with the phone itself.. They sent me a new phone and no problems now!
