So I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 (NOT the Mini) and all the apps cameras are zoomed in. However, the normal pre-installed camera is completely fine. The Snapchat Camera is really zoomed in and I'm going on holiday soon and need it fixed. I have tried clearing the cache for Snapchat on settings and going on the actual app and clearing the memories and the other cache on it

Can you pinch to zoom out? Is it zooming back in if you can zoom it out? I'd like to help, but I'm not fully understanding the problem. I could probably try to replicate it on an old S3 I have.

No I am not able to pinch and zoom out on the front facing camera (I dont think you can on Snapchat) However I am able to do (like everyone else) on the rear camera. So it is just stuck in a zoomed in zoom. I have tried EVERYTHING, my phone is updated to the latest update

Hmmm... ...I'll charge up my wife's old S3 when I get home from work and see what's up. I'll be honest I'm not a big user of either snapchat or the front facing camera, but I'll load up the apps and give it a whirl.

Hi, did you test it out? Also I realised its all apps that have a camera in it. But the pre installed is okay. So every app that includes a camera that I install is automatically zoomed in

Oh, sorry, I lost track of this when the forum went down for a few hours. I just got the old girl connected to a charger. Once it has enough life in it I'll give it a whirl.

OK, looks like the S3 doesn't allow zooming on the front facing camera. I get a toast message saying it is not supported in this mode.:(
