Help My s3 is freezing

My s3 was fine the first 3 months but then he's lagging and freezing and he's slow .i did a factory data reset but it doesn't help very much. Can i reinstall the software (android 4.1.2) safely and will it be better .and i think he's slower after the android version update .plz helpp

Welcome to the forum.

It will be possible to manually flash your old firmware with Odin.

Before downgrading your firmware it's probably worth seeing if we can solve the problem and get your phone running smoothly on the firmware you have now.

After the factory reset did you run your phone for a bit without installing any apps or did you reinstall the apps you previously had? If the latter it could be one of those apps which is interfering.

Also which carrier are you on and what's your new firmware?
