Help My Sap Strap is Wack

I know they are rare nowadays but a shoe repair shop might be the ticket. I would think Boston would have a few still in business.
A distant relative of mine made his way though life operating a shoe repair shop. Very handy with leather was he. Living in Oklahoma he also did a great deal of saddle work. Being as you have everything necessary to duplicate, that would be the avenue I'd pursue. A machine to do the stitching would be a must and often found in a repair shop.

Not in my neighborhood. All those useful shops have closed.
Has anyone improved on this Sap design? I tried wooden and metal batons before but this design messes up a knee better.
I work Security.

Wow. I would think that a metropolis the size of Boston would support multiple such shops. Shows you what I don't know. :) Perhaps something similar can be had from the net. I've never looked.

Must be the way the photos were taken.
If I wanted a cosh I could make one with a sock.

I guess I'll just have to look online for a replacement.
I'm in MA though. We just legalized Mace recently.

I think i might need it again is all. Last time i used it i i was outweighed.
I'm feeling outnumbered lately.
It's a racial thing. Downtown is not what it used to be when Detroit Red roamed. Now it's a play at the Paramount which was a movie theater when I grew up.
Still feels like America though. So I've got that.

I avoid questionable areas at all cost. I am licensed and carry. I do not ever plan to employee such but I am trained and prepared. In my upper sixties, I feel disadvantaged though I'm in great shape. We are not playing by the same rules I grew up with.
