My Sony Bluray just updated itself...

This is the first OTA update for me since the initial setup.

I did not click OK until I had my packet sniffer ready to go, but it seems that the update was already downloaded at some point during the day, it just needed the OK to install it.

There seems to be more of a fade transition between screens now.

[Update] Is that an edit button on the home screen? Was that always there?
[Update2] Yes, that edit button was always there.

this has been my 3rd update since i returned my original machine because it crashed.

Do they compile all of the OTA's into the main update during setup as they go or should i be receiving OTA updates after installing for the first time yesterday. Is there a way to pull the updates? Thanks,

i clicked more info. it said it updated chrome , sony recommends and the disc player.

when i set up mine on launch day i got sound but no video while playing a a dvd or bluray. i called sony tech support and they took all my info down and had me describe the problem. i am impressed that they released a fix so fast.
