as i wanted to update to jelly bean,i was supposed to unlockboot loader and root my phone in 2.3.4. before getting into recovery mode to update cm10.1,,i was asked to flash the kernel.so i dit it as mentioned using flash tool..everything got succeeded...but when i turn on the phone it just vibrates and screen became black.....not turning ON!

Your best bet would be to find your phone's folders and start a thread HERE, in the All Things Root section. Then other users of your device can help you.

Or, go to where you got the rooting instructions and ask them.

It could be a bad flash, in which case reflashing will probably help, or it could require more detailed help than I can give you here.
