My sweet LG V30 is getting old. Boo hoo.

Now she's slowing down, taking up to a second between screens, and getting stuck.
I'm ready to take her to the old folks home. I mean it this time!
What phone have people here moved to?
Thanks!

Do you plan to stick with LG or are you eyeing Android phones from other manufacturers? The Galaxy S20 Ultra is looking dangerously tempting. Ridiculous cameras are the most attractive differentiator right now in my opinion. Admittedly overpriced for the average consumer but you're making an investment in amazing photos without having to lug around a DSLR (which would be even more expensive than the Ultra).

Curious to see what you decide! And what's currently caught your eye.

Well I moved to LG V30 for mostly utilitarian reasons. I had fallen in love, (I tend to refer to smartphone durations like past romances) with a Motorola Moto X Pure, mostly because it had moto voice, and I could dump the bloatware. Moto voice is still the best voice control program I've ever used.
If they had simply created a newer version, by upgrading both the Chipset and the RAM, I would have stayed with motorola but after the were acquired by lenovo, they began flooding the market with low res, low RAM, phones with bells and whistles more geared towards teenagers and people who don't appreciate powerful tech, but like lots of pretty colors and whizbang bells and whistles.
So when I got the LG V30 it had both a great price used, ($299, in 2017 I think), a little more RAM (4GB), a better Chip, and I was able to originally operate it totally hands free, (including unlocking it when it was on lock screen), and it was relatively easy to dump LG's bloatware, (light when compared to some other companies), and create my "dead screen" (I have always preferred making all buttons invisible on an all black desktop, with an all black dock with all-black apps. I know exactly where they are so it's no problem. And while the Camera was Originally great, and seemed to be able to take pictures of license plates at night, (I work in security and need to occasionally do this) after an update, it no longer seemed to work, but overall, the camera is pretty great.
So...... what would me me would be the following.

A 6" plus, bezeless screen, at least 3" wide, or "75.4 mm" like the LG.
I HATE the fact that when they tout the screen size of a lot of phones today, they rarely include the screen width as a feature and you have to scroll down or look it up.
I didn't like a lot of the galaxies for that reason alone, and it seemed counterintuitive. that when westerners clearly read text FROM SIDE TO SIDE, that they would brag about how tall a screen is, but not make it wider to accommodate more text.
Also, an ability to custom program voice control, and to not have to say "hey google" lie an idiot all the time, would be great.

All together:
1: 6"x4" screen (Width matters)
2: Great camera with serious zooming capabilities
3: 8GB RM minimum
4: Customizable voice activation and control
5: 4500 Mhz Battery or better.
6: Indestructible space-age bulletproof, nuclear test DOD level gorilla glass, and kryptonite level metal and glass body.

Phew! Lol. sorry for going on so long, but it took a lot of research for me to find the LG V30 of my dreams, and now I have to go through the process again.
