I am sorry the introduction isn't under better circumstances: it could be the charging circuit in the tablet that's bad.
One thing I can think of to try is to access Recovery to see if it's the operating system that's bad. While I don't have a My Tablet, the tablet I DO have accesses Recovery by pressing the volume UP button and the power button at the same time until "detect recovery key pressed" appears in the upper left corner.
If you can get to recovery, it's not a primary power issue. Try to reboot system in recovery by pressing the Home button. If it goes dead again, we know it's an operating system issue... if recovery can't be accessed, it's a primary power issue.
If it's indicating a charge but won't turn on at all, there is a likelihood that the tablet would need to be replaced / repaired.
