Help My wifi wont turn on just goes back to off position

I put my tablet down for a second when I came back to it the wifi was off. The wifi wont turn on at all I cant even see any networks. Just stays in the off position. I have done a factory reset and that didnt work. Does anyone know what may have happened?

When I got home from work last night, the Wi-Fi did turn on oddly, and even though it gave me a list of access points but wouldn't connect. It's now back in the same state where it won't turn on, I'm suspecting a hardware issue as I've tried a factory reset with no luck. I haven't dropped it or anything though :(
