Help Mysterious phone jingles after JB ota

Phone keeps 'ringing' (old rotory phone ring sound) out of the blue. Rings once and then again a few seconds later. It says "incorrect username or password". So, the phone is trying to sign into the Yahoo account on it's own. And then doing the ringing when fails. How can I (mom's phone) stop that from happening? Is there something to delete or install or disable? Very annoying.

Try doing a factory reset
Menu/settings/backup & reset/factory reset

You may want to backup you current data first

Yeah, thought about that. She's just on stock, no root, nothing. So, I make the backup through the bootloader screen or the systems option?
