I found this usb flash drive today.
It has total available space of 3.79 gb.I would think it is a 4 gb drive.
Can anyone identity what brand it is.? How old it is?
There was nothing on it except those files that cannot be opened.
They are dated 1979.Anyone know how to open them?
What kind of devices did they have in 1979?
This has made me very curious. IMG_2014091520803.jpg

No USB ports. :D

Much more likely the date was completely wrong on whatever created the files. Dates on Android devices can go right back to 1st January, 1970, because that's the UNIX epoch.

Don't know what brand the USB stick is, probably something generic, many of them are. Red/blue 3D glasses logo doesn't ring any bells. What's the file suffix of the files you're trying to view? Because that will often give you a clue of what software might be needed to open them, especially if it's something proprietary. e.g. .PSD files, if you haven't got Adobe Photoshop, you might not be able to open and view them.

Hey, that's the upmarket "pro" version of the PET, intended to be used with the hideously exensive (and glacially slow) disk pack. The normal PET had a non-standard keyboard and a built in cassette recorder for data storage :-)
