Mytouch 3g Sound Problems

This is a recent problem i've had. My Phone creates sounds for everything I do. I scroll my notifications, a ring comes out. When I put Turn off(Sleep) it rings twice. Same for unlocking the phone, 2 rings. Pressing anything like something in settings, a ring. Its extremely annoying. Also idk if this will help but its controlled by media volume. I want to get rid of it! Also Idk much about phones & not the techy type. Please help

I'd recommend going to Settings - Sound. Under that option, start unchecking everything that you see or changing the ringtone shown to "Silent".
