N4 and metro

Honestly Gman should have a thread stickied for questions, he knows his stuff maybe a byod thread explaing what devices can be used like in the tmo forums. like seriously all questions I asked him pertained to byod and it was spread across multiple threads , to the point when he asked quote or link the phone I had to go through my thanks to find my own Post in between finding my own post he was just cleaning up all questions he could lots of them

And interestingly enough, a quickie Googlification shows it coming to T-Mo by the end of the year.

I'd be surprised if it were less than $300 though. :(

I just sent my carrier pigeon to the Mothership's Faceplant page (backchannel) and told them they should call LG Last Month and have them start shooting out either T-Mo and/or Metro LG Spirits with GSM reddyohs. I wouldn't think it'd need any full recertification just to change the reddyoh and/or the carrier name printed on it.

If that ain't a no brainer I don't know what is.

considering the spirit is better l9 anyway I don't see why not hell call it l9 lte if they have too

It would have to get fully recertified just doing minimalistic things like adding another frequency to the LTE needs full recertification

I was just thinking the other day it's a phone that's Too Good to have it's own forum (kinda).

Ok, so yes, there is Some Root activity. The rest of the Spirit forum is Boresville ;) No groups of anyone bitchin' moanin' or complainin' about this or that bug or something else they don't like about the phone.

The damn thing just does what it's supposed to and does a good job of it.

(And that's even Before I take into account that after the rebate and selling my DroidXs, I paid about $90 for mine. :) )

it very well may be a world phone, sprint has lots of world phone snow as well. they are all locked to using tmobile/att towers though and have to be out of usa in order to use gsm :/

I don't think Verizon is allowed to lock them as a condition of them having the nationwide 700MHz and then with them being sneaky Verizon they get around this by locking the APN to only allowing 2G
