Help N7 Touch sound - crackle after waking up (but not all the time)

This has only happened to me twice so far. Both times were after the tablet hadn't been used for a few hours.

I woke it up and pressed an icon, and instead of the touch 'tone', it crackled/popped and then there was also some soft 'wooshing' sounds for a few seconds after.
But once i started touching other icons, the touch tones went back to normal.
(It all happened very quickly so it's hard for me to describe it well)

This hasn't happened every time the tablet wakes up though.

Anyone else experience this?

Should I be worried?
 
Same here.. i cant really reproduce but it happens a few times a day but like u said no always.
I brought my first nexus back to the shop to get another one but this one (im now writing from) shows the
Same issue.. so im sure it must be a general problem..
Any ideas to fix this?
 
I only heard one crackle out of the box and then nothing for over a week. But yesterday I had this issue 3 times in short succession. It seemed to be after installing Android Lost. Maybe this isn't a hardware problem but some weird software problem?
 
I hope its just a software thing..

But ive tried differt firmwares with different kernels..
It alawys shows the same issue.
Maybe its becuase of the 4.1.1 update.. it seems like the sound
Devive does notnwake up asquickly as the system wanted it to
 
I just git that question? Are u guys suing motley kernel? I got that feeling motley is the one to blame... still testing
 
I'm not suing anyone! xD

But no, I'm fully stock apart from root, and I think the first time I heard a crack I was unrooted.
But like I said, I have as good as no crackle, apart from when I posted and right out of the box.

why would you sue him? i have systematicly flashed the motley 1.1 kerne;l to stop screen flicker with all my roms i get speaker crackle too but its software and im not whining
 
Hahah i dont sue the kernel. Lol! Of course i meant using.. sorry i cant controll my fingers that perfect cuu
My nexus 7 is new ;)
I can now say that motley kernel shows this issue trinity seems to dont show ot.
