When I was looking at Android phones (I bought a Motorola Droid), the guy at Sprint told me that there was an app on the Hero that would allow you to search for a place and then show you the building and through the walls of the building. I just got my phone tonight and wanted to download that application, but have no idea what its called. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

(SO FAR, the Moto Droid is 100 times better than my BlackBerry Storm)

Are you saying Sprint said the Hero has x-ray vision? :P
Not quite sure what you're referring to, but Wikitude allows you to look through the camera and overlays information about what you're looking about on the screen. Didn't work that well for me, but it might just be my area.

X-Ray Vision :D

He was probably somehow referring to Augmented Reality applications such as Wikitude and Layer which are both free aswell :)

I called Sprint to find out what it was and he said it was called layar. Too bad I can't find it on the Android Market. I'll have to look for it later. Still learning how to use the basics of the phone, as I just got it last night.

Layer like I said in my Previous Post :) It's an augmented reality app. Scan this QR code below {Using an app like "Barcode scanner"} and it should take you straight their : It's Under the Market as "Reality Browser 2.2" so that's probably why you had difficulty finding it too

Thanks for posting the scan. I scanned it with barcode scanner and it said "not found". Maybe that application isn't available for the motorola droid. I did find Wikitude World Browser when I did a search for "Reality Browser". I'm downloading that one right now and we'll see how it works. Maybe Layar was taken down for problems or something. Not sure.
