Hey everyone! My name's Gerard. I live in New Jersey and I just got the G1 last Thursday. I'm a senior in high school (17 years old).
I was going to get the G1 for Christmas. Unfortunately, I left my Sidekick LX in the bathroom at school by mistake. I came back about 10-15 minutes later after realizing that and it was gone. As much as losing a phone sucks (and the fact that I paid for the majority of the upgrade while my dad handled the rest), I'm glad that I got the G1.
I live in an urban area of NJ (very very very close to NYC), and iPhones are extremely dominant here. I often get into battles with my friends and even one of my teachers about which is better, which is always hilarious. I think I'm the only one in my school with a G1.
Anyway, I dunno what else to say. I like the forums and I'll probably post here frequently. I've already read a good number of posts on the mobile version of the site and educated myself on things I didn't know.
