Root nandroid backup made in clockwork now stuck in amon ra

i rooted using androot and i got wireless tether but than it said i needed a kernel so i downloaded it and i think that messed up my phone. i flashed it over and when my phone reset it shows the g1 screen then makes a lighted black screen. i can go into recovery but i made my back up in clockwork and now im stuck in amon ra. please help me!
im thinking maybe if someone had a backup for the g1 i could put it on mine and restore from there.

Flash another radio perhaps?

If that dosent work maybe you need to re root
Can you get into bootloader?
